High speed (Broadband) Internet access is available from your room and Wireless throughout the Globe Bar, Galileo Restaurant, Drawing Room and the Lobby. We also provide comprehensive solutions for our conference rooms.

ExpressNet, powered by Applaud - I.T., is a revolutionary system that allows a laptop computer to be connected to the Internet in the simplest, easiest,secure and economical way possible. This is achieved by using the network or wireless card in your computer to make a network connection using built in software on most computers including those running Windows95 to WindowsXP or Macintosh.

There are several rates available depending upon which service settings you choose, giving you the flexibility to use the service in a way that meets your needs. 

Should you not be travelling with a laptop computer our Business Centre will be able to assist you.

Located on the ground level of the hotel, The Observatory Hotel’s fully equipped Business Centre provides 24-hour access to email, fax and computers. The business centre is attended by a Guest Services manager.

Portable Business Unit

For a nominal fee of AUS$75 per day, the business traveller can have a printer and laptop set up in their room. Each suite has a dedicated fax line and fax to which a number can be allocated prior to the guest’s arrival.  Internet access is through a dedicated data port entry located near the writing desk in each room and suite.
