World Youth Day Package

The Observatory Hotel is the perfect base to welcome the Pope on July 17th when he lands at Barangaroo in Sydney to address an expected 200,000 strong World Youth Day Crowd.

The hotel has 40 water-view rooms, all with balconies or Juliette style windows and will offer the best vantage point for this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Festivities on July 17th will include a civic reception, a welcome to land from local indigenous leaders, and a colourful reception with flags from all over the world.

The Pope will disembark at the foot of The Observatory Hotel at Barangaroo where he will address the crowd of pilgrims. Following this, the Pope will travel in the 'Pope mobile' through the streets of Sydney.
