The new Babymoon Package will offer mums-to-be and their accompanying anxious partners the time and services they need for total relaxation and indulgence before babe is born. The package includes; luxury overnight accommodation with full breakfast and a late check out; a welcome gift pack that includes pampering products from the Day Spa, a baby-sized fluffy and too-cute-for words monogrammed bathrobe, 20% discount in the spa and a choice of snacks from a specially designed ‘Crave No More’ menu.

‘Babymooning’ refers to the planned, peaceful getaway booked by expectant parents to enjoy ‘one last hoorah’ before their baby is born; and Australian ‘babymooners’ are booking in style.

Lilianfels, the only five-star resort in the Blue Mountains has noticed the increase in ‘babymooner’ bookings and General Manager, Robyn Pontynen said the ‘bump’ and the strange room service orders were dead giveaways that a ‘babymooning’ couple were in-house.

“We have noticed more and more expectant couples retreating to Lilianfels for a little peaceful pampering and if we didn’t notice mum-to-be on check in, the room service orders will generally tip us off.”

“The newly created ‘Crave No more’ menu offers everything from spicy laksa noodles, pancakes with maple syrup, twice fried hand-cut chips and of course, a peanut butter and banana sandwich.” She said.

‘Babymooners’ will also receive a 20% discount voucher for their anniversary or 1st birthday return stay.

Babymoon Package prices start from $485 per couple per night at The Observatory Hotel and $449 per couple per night at Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa. Prices are subject to availability.
